ABOUT ME
home stager | organiser | property stylist
I'm on a mission to help people feel happier about their homes, whether they're selling up or staying put.

If you're happy where you are, but want to create more breathing space, streamlining what you own can reduce stress, help you sleep better, boost productivity and even, studies show, help you eat better.
Maybe you're going round in circles trying to decide what to do before going on the market and where best to spend any available budget.
With me on your team everything doesn't have to be so complicated.

We loved working with Jane. She was positive, upbeat, confident and full of ideas. We sold soon and Jane was worth every penny of her very reasonable fee. We strongly recommend her

Why I do what I do
When my home in Brighton sparked a bidding war on the first day of viewings, I took it as a sign to switch career and improve others' experience of moving.
Years earlier though, the sale of my very first flat was a very different experience: the local estate agent told me not to change a thing and, knowing nothing about dressing a property to make it stand out, I waited for the offers to roll in. After an initial flurry, viewings inevitably dried up.
Fed up after months of rushing around tidying up before work, in case someone wanted to view, I reduced the asking price and eventually accepted a low offer. By now buyers knew I was desperate to move on and I'd missed out on my dream home because I couldn't get under offer fast enough.
I didn't know then that there was a great option to all this: staging my home to help it sell.

I moved from that flat into a series of wrecks and started devouring interiors magazines and property shows; friends and family started asking for my advice and, driven to learn more, I studied interior design, home staging and styling around my job as a freelance magazine journalist. Friends were happy to be guinea pigs and constantly badgered me to 'go for it'; then along came my own lucrative sale. I launched Jane Lee Interiors launched in 2019 and haven't looked back.
Between projects I write about interior design, home staging and styling, organising, downsizing, decluttering and feng shui for national publications. Home is a cottage near Brighton.

Jane was incredibly mindful of the fact that we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. She helped us source some affordable accessories to add flair and it made a huge difference. We got a lot of interest immediately and sold a month after listing
